The estimated costs for an ACM mission trip include:
$975 - Trip Cost
accommodations, food, background check, travel insurance, etc
*an additional $50 per day will be charged for any days over 10
$1,700 - $2,300 ~ Airfare
$65 - Covid Test Prior to Departure in Entebbe, if still required
$50 - Apply for an E-Visa
Optional Safari or Rhino Trek
When possible, teams are encouraged to go and see some of God's amazing animals in their natural habitat. A rhino trek is a one-day experience and costs around $80. A one- or two-night safari typically costs between $400-$700, depending on team size and selected accommodations.
Optional Staff Gratuity
Upon your return, gratuities may be sent to ACM's US office. They will be shared equally among ACM's Ugandan staff.
Immunizations:
The Yellow Fever immunization is required for entry into Uganda.
The COVID-19 vaccine is recommended for any ACM mission team member or intern.
If more than sufficient funds are raised, immunization expenses may be reimbursed (receipt required).
